🇪🇸 Spain Takes Steps to Strengthen Dyslexia Teacher Training!

Recently, in Mallorca, Spain, the National Dyslexia Commission and other organizations related to learning difficulties held a meaningful meeting. At this gathering, the 2025-2027 National Dyslexia Plan was finally approved. 🎉

The most central part of this plan is enhancing teacher training at all educational levels. Sara Gamero, President of the National Federation of Dyslexia, emphasized the importance of this meeting, stating, "This meeting provides significance as institutions, autonomous communities, and the central government reach the government." He added, "The agreement reaches all levels of academic learning for teacher training while facing this disability," and revealed that active participation from universities is also expected. Isn't that reassuring?

According to Ms. Gamero, "Regional consultants will make efforts to reflect the contents of this agreement in teacher training plans." This indicates the possibility that all teachers will acquire the expertise to better understand the characteristics of students with dyslexia and effectively support their learning in the future. 😊
