This 'Center of Excellence (CoE)' has officially commenced its activities with an inauguration ceremony held at the C-CAMP campus. Key personnel from both organizations, as well as the Minister of Health for Karnataka, Dinesh Gundu Rao, graced the occasion. 👏
As part of the 'Bio for Climate' program, this center will focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions through innovative biology-based solutions and expanding natural carbon sequestration processes. 🌳
Innovative Solutions Across Diverse Sectors
Dr. Taslimarif Saiyed, Director-CEO of C-CAMP, emphasized the importance of global action to combat climate change and stated that C-CAMP will successfully lead this program, building on its experience in supporting over 50 climate-related innovations. 💪
The biology-based climate solutions to be developed at this center can be applied to various sectors closely related to our lives, such as environment, health, and agriculture, making future changes even more anticipated. 💊🌾
