Hello everyone! Today, I've brought some incredibly exciting news that all Android tablet users will want to pay attention to. I found myself very interested after seeing this news. Many of you may have felt that app multitasking on Android tablets has been a bit lacking, and now there's news that Google is preparing a new feature to greatly improve this area!

Apps Opening as Floating Bubbles!

Never miss insights like this - delivered every morning

What's happening? It's expected that on Android tablets, you will soon be able to launch any app as a floating bubble window, similar to chat or messaging apps. According to Android Authority, this new behavior was recently discovered in a leaked Android 2510 Canary build.

Previously, dragging an app icon from the taskbar would launch it in full screen, right? But now, if you drag an app icon from the taskbar to a corner at the bottom of the screen, the app will open in a floating bubble window instead of full screen!

If this feature is realized, you'll be able to launch multiple apps simultaneously and multitask much more conveniently, such as taking notes while watching YouTube, or performing other tasks while keeping the Chrome browser open. Doesn't it sound like incredibly efficient work will be possible just by thinking about it? 💻✨

Efforts for a Better Tablet Experience

This feature was discovered in a Pixel Launcher test build and appears to be part of a broader effort by Google to bridge the gap between the traditional Android experience and desktop-style multitasking. In fact, ideas for such multitasking features have existed before, but they seem to have been inadequately implemented.

The feature discovered this time is likely the result of Google quietly refining this functionality to better suit the existing tablet interface. While there hasn't been an official announcement from Google yet, the inclusion of such functionality in the code further heightens expectations.

What Do You Think?

What are your thoughts on this new multitasking feature? Please let us know in the comments what you're most looking forward to using it for! 😊

This news, which seems like it could significantly upgrade the usability of Android tablets, makes us look forward to Google's official announcement!

Have a warm day, everyone! ❤️
