An Unexpected Outcome: Failure of Reusable Rocket Booster Return
It is precisely because of this additional fuel that the Falcon 9 first-stage booster, named B1076, which performed this mission, could not autonomously return and land on a drone ship or landing pad as it normally does. 😥
