Despite the persistent efforts of the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI), local coast guard, and numerous volunteers, the heartbreaking news arrived today, Monday, September 8, 2025, that his body had been found.
The NSRI stated, 'The news of Mr Graham Howes is extremely tragic,' adding that 'it adds to the sorrow for everyone who was holding hope for his safe return.' The search teams had desperately wished for his safe recovery, making this outcome even more devastating.
